Ingredients

  • 2 cup sugar
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/4 cup brown vinegar

Method

  • Step 1
    Combine sugar, water and vinegar in saucepan, stir over low heat until sugar has dissolved.
  • Step 2
    Increase heat, boil rapidly without stirring for approximately 15 minutes, or until a small amount of mixture will crack when tested in cold water. (Remove from heat while testing).
  • Step 3
    Remove from heat, allow bubbles to subside, pour into patty cases. Leave for 5 minutes before decorating with chopped nuts, hundreds and thousands, coconut, etc.
