A special treat for breakfast.
Ingredients
- 2 egg yolks
- 2 egg whites
- 1/2 tsp sugar
- 1 cup plain flour sifted
- 3/4 cup milk
- 1/2 tsp bicarbonate of soda
Method

Step 1Combine egg yolks, sugar and flour in a mixing bowl.

Step 2Slowly add milk and beat until smooth.

Step 3Beat two egg whites until stiff in a separate bowl.

Step 4Pour beaten egg whites into the batter.

Step 5Pour a little batter to make one pancake into a preheated non-stick frypan.

Step 6Cook until bubbles appear on surface, turn and cook other side.

Step 7Serve immediately, covered with maple syrup.
Recipe Notes
You can also use golden syrup, lemon and sugar or cinnamon and sugar.
