This mushroom-packed dish will leave you wanting more.
Ingredients
- 4 chicken breast fillets
- 1/2 onion finely chopped
- 100 g button mushrooms quartered
- 100 g oyster mushrooms quartered
- 25 g porcini mushrooms
- 1 sprig fresh thyme
- 575 g Barilla Red Wine & Garlic Sauce
- 3 garlic cloves crushed
- 1 pinch salt and pepper *to taste
- 100 ml extra virgin olive oil
Method

Step 1Soak the dry porcini mushrooms, changing the water twice.

Step 2Season the chicken breasts and saute in a frypan with a little oil.

Step 3In a different fry pan, gently cook the onion, garlic and thyme with the button and oyster mushrooms in a little oil. Season with salt and pepper.

Step 4Add the porcini mushrooms in their water and cook slowly for few minutes and keep on the side.

Step 5Slice and butterfly the chicken, then season and saute in the fry pan, then add the Barilla Garlic and Red Wine sauce.

Step 6Simmer together with the mushrooms for 5-6 minutes, or until soft and cooked through.
