Ingredients

  • 4 chicken breast fillets
  • 1/2 onion finely chopped
  • 100 g button mushrooms quartered
  • 100 g oyster mushrooms quartered
  • 25 g porcini mushrooms
  • 1 sprig fresh thyme
  • 575 g Barilla Red Wine & Garlic Sauce
  • 3 garlic cloves crushed
  • 1 pinch salt and pepper *to taste
  • 100 ml extra virgin olive oil

Method

  • Step 1
    Soak the dry porcini mushrooms, changing the water twice.
  • Step 2
    Season the chicken breasts and saute in a frypan with a little oil.
  • Step 3
    In a different fry pan, gently cook the onion, garlic and thyme with the button and oyster mushrooms in a little oil. Season with salt and pepper.
  • Step 4
    Add the porcini mushrooms in their water and cook slowly for few minutes and keep on the side.
  • Step 5
    Slice and butterfly the chicken, then season and saute in the fry pan, then add the Barilla Garlic and Red Wine sauce.
  • Step 6
    Simmer together with the mushrooms for 5-6 minutes, or until soft and cooked through.
