The delicious combination of figs and tahini are the perfect lunch box snack. Make a big batch on a Sunday and keep them stored in the fridge for the week.
Ingredients
- 1 cup dried figs
- 1/2 cup rolled oats
- 1/2 cup pumpkin seeds
- 2 tbs tahini
- 1 tbs maple syrup
- 1 pinch sea salt
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1 tbs water
- 1/4 cup sesame seeds *to decorate
Method

Step 1Add all of the ingredients, except the water and sesame seeds, into a high-powered blender or food processor. Blend until the mixture is smooth. If the mixture is too dry, add the water and blend until just combined.

Step 2Sprinkle the sesame seeds over a plate.

Step 3Roll the blended mixture into balls of your desired size, then roll each ball in the sesame seeds to coat.

Step 4Place the bliss balls into an airtight container and refrigerate to set. Store them in the fridge for 4-5 days, or freeze them for up to a fortnight.
Recipe Notes
You can use maple syrup or rice malt syrup.
