A very yummy alternative, and quick to make.
Ingredients
- 4 cup chicken stock (liquid)
- 2 tomato chopped large
- 2 tsp soy sauce
- 1 tsp caster sugar
- 1/2 tsp white pepper *to taste
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- 2 shallots sliced
- 2 tbs coriander torn
- 2 egg lightly beaten
Method

Step 1Combine the stock, tomatoes, soy sauce and sugar in a saucepan.

Step 2Bring to boil then reduce heat and simmer for 2 minutes.

Step 3Season with pepper and sesame oil.

Step 4Add the eggs in a thin stream, stirring the soup in a clockwise direction, to form thin egg stream.

Step 5Let stand for 1 minute. Serve with onions and coriander.
