Easter menus

The Easter long weekend is a chance to spend time with your family and friends, not slaving away over a hot stove. These recipes are ideal to make ahead of time or in an instant so that you can enjoy the day.

Starters and sides

Make the most of autumn flavours and opt for golden roasted vegetables or a simple salad to either start the meal or accompany the main course.

Main

Set to work the day before to create a slow-cooked stew or hearty lasagne, or rise early to slowly roast a shoulder of pork for a truly memorable main.

Dessert

Finish off the feast with a scrumptious dessert. Make the most of the new season apples and pears or opt for a decadent chocolate cake, adorned with a rainbow of colourful Easter eggs.

Set the scene

Get into the Easter spirit and decorate the table to reflect the holiday. Use a white tablecloth and adorn it with coloured eggs, either made of chocolate or hand decorated. Set vases or jars of flowers along the table to add a splash of colour or stick to a simple palette of soft yellows and greens for a more traditional approach. Remember this is all about relaxed eating so keep it simple!
