Just add salami or ham
Deli meats like salami and ham are great stand-by ingredient to keep in the fridge at all times. Not only do they keep well, they also makes a great addition to a range of pasta dishes and takes only a few moments to prepare.
Just add pesto
Pick up a jar of pesto and add it to hot pasta, together with a few other ingredients for a quick and delicious meal. You could use your own homemade pesto in place of the bottled stuff or even call by the local deli to pick up a tub of freshly made pesto.

Just add tuna
Open the pantry door in most homes and you’ll find a tin of tuna – and for good reason. This pantry staple makes last minute cooking a cinch. Look out for tuna in extra virgin olive oil which will give you a far superior colour, texture and flavour in these dishes.
