Ingredients

  • 1 L Campbell's Real Spanish Soup Base
  • 1 L water cold
  • 300 g white beans dried
  • 250 g Gotzinger cheese kransky
  • 2 chorizo sausages
  • 5 potatoes large
  • 1 tbs dried marjoram heaped
  • 1 carrot large
  • 6 garlic cloves crushed
  • 60 g cornflour
  • 1 pinch Vegeta Gourmet Stock vegetable powder
  • 1 red onion
  • 3/4 cup fresh parsley *to garnish

Method

  • Step 1
Soak the beans in cold water overnight, then drain and put in a saucepan. Cover with water and place the lid on. Bring to the boil, then reduce the heat and cook until the beans are soft. Drain.
  • Step 2
Pour the Real Soup Base into a large saucepan and add carrot, potatoes, onion, garlic, marjoram, cheese kransky, chorizo, 1L of water, then cover with a lid and bring to boil. Reduce the heat and cook until the carrot and potatoes are soft.
  • Step 3
Add the beans, then stir and slowly pour cornflour mixed with a little bit water to make the soup thicker. Keep stirring, then taste and season with Vegeta gourmet stock. Taste again to see if anything needs to be added.
  • Step 4
Serve on its own and garnish with fresh parsley.

Equipment

  • 1 non-stick frying pan
Recipe Notes

You don't need to add black pepper or salt to this soup, because the base is already spiced.
