Delicious crisp waffles...try eating only one!
Ingredients
- 250 g self-raising flour
- 2 eggs
- 1 tbs butter
- 1 1/2 tbs milk powder
- 300 ml water
- 1 tsp vanilla essence
Method

Step 1Beat eggs and water together with a stab mixer.

Step 2Sift in flour and powdered milk, and beat well.

Step 3Add melted butter and vanilla, and beat again.

Step 4Pour about 3 tablespoons of batter into a well greased, heated waffle iron.

Step 5Cook until golden brown.

Step 6Serve with maple syrup and cream.
Recipe Notes
I guess milk would substitute for powdered milk and water but I have never tried it.
Leftovers can be frozen and reheated in a toaster.
