Easy tuna patties.
Ingredients
- 6 potato cut into pieces peeled
- 400 g canned tuna in brine
- 1 egg
- 1 cup dried breadcrumbs
- 2 tbs butter
Method

Step 1Boil potatoes until soft. Mash but don't add milk or butter. Allow to cool at room temperature until cold.

Step 2Drain tuna of all liquid.

Step 3Stir tuna into cooled potatoes and add the egg. Mix until well combined.

Step 4Roll into balls and coat with breadcrumbs, flatten slightly and layer on a plate, ensuring there are extra breadcrumbs between patties.

Step 5Refrigerate for 1-2 hours or overnight.

Step 6Cook on both sides in fry-pan.
