These sweet little balls of Tim Tam deliciousness are perfect for gifting - that is if you can manage to avoid devouring them all first! The addition of coffee and liqueur takes them from a yummy biscuit into a very grown-up decadent treat.

Ingredients

  • 2 packets Arnott's white chocolate Tim Tams
  • 250 g cream cheese
  • 30 ml strong black coffee (liquid)
  • 40 ml Tia Maria
  • 290 g white chocolate melts
  • 2 Arnott's Tim Tams crushed *extra

Method

  • Step 1
    In a food processor, blitz white Tim Tams into a fine crumb.

    Add cream cheese, coffee and Tia Maria and pulse a few times until well combined.

    Using damp hands, roll into small balls and refrigerate for half an hour to set.

  • Step 4
    Melt white chocolate in a bowl placed over a saucepan of simmering water. Once smooth, remove from heat and dip Tim Tam balls in one at a time to coat, then place on a tray lined with baking paper. Before chocolate has hardened, sprinkle with a little of the crushed original-flavoured Tim Tams.

Recipe Notes

Use original Tim Tams for the extras.

White chocolate is notoriously difficult to work with, but you can melt it in bursts in the microwave if you prefer. Make sure you avoid letting any steam, or moisture into the bowl when it's melting.

If you find it too thick to work with, add half a teaspoon of neutral flavoured oil to thin it out.
