Very tasty meal with other Thai dishes.
Ingredients
- 650 g beef sirloin steak
- 1 tbs oil
- 150 g green salad
- 2 red onions finely chopped small
- 10 kaffir lime leaves shredded
- 3 chillis large mild seeded shredded
- 2/3 cup coriander
- 2/3 cup basil
- 2/3 cup mint
Dressing
- 1 tsp soy sauce
- 2 tbs fish sauce
- 2 tbs lime juice
- 2 tbs palm sugar
Method

Step 1Brush or spray steak with a little oil and char-grill, barbeque or panfry until cooked to preference.

Step 2Slice steak thinly.

Step 3Place the salad greens, onions, kaffir lime leaves, chilli, coriander, mint and basil in a bowl and toss lightly.

Step 4Dressing: Combine the soy sauce, fish sauce, lime juice and sugar.

Step 5Add steak to salad plate and pour over the dressing.

Step 6Serve immediately.

- 1 pastry brush
- 1 chargrill pan
- 1 bowl
Recipe Notes
You can use rump steak instead of sirloin and brown sugar instead of palm. This dish is best eaten immediately.
