Nice on a cold day.
Ingredients
- 300 g macaroni
- 4 bacon rashers diced fat trimmed
- 30 g butter
- 2 onion large sliced
- 1 garlic clove crushed
- 200 ml cream
- 50 g tasty cheese grated
- 3 potato boiled peeled skin on sliced
- 3 tbs cream whipped
Method

Step 1Boil macaroni in salted water until just tender (al dente). Pour off the water and rinse with cold water. Allow to drain.

Step 2Fry bacon until just crisp.

Step 3Saute onions in butter until golden brown. Add crushed garlic and cream, and simmer for 2 minutes. Add macaroni and mix well. Add cheese and season with salt and pepper.

Step 4Add the potatoes and whipped cream to the macaroni.

Step 5Reheat and serve in bowls.
