Beautiful, moist, easy to make chocolate cake.
Ingredients
- 2 cup self-raising flour
- 1/2 cup cocoa powder
- 4 egg
- 2 tsp vanilla essence
- 2 cup sugar
- 1 cup milk
- 168 g soft butter
Method

Step 1Place all ingredients in a mixer and beat for 6 minutes.

Step 2Pour into a greased cake tin and bake at 175C for 1 hour.
Equipment
- 1 electric beaters
- 1 lamington pan
Recipe Notes
It will make 2 smallish round cakes, or one lamington tin. Make a double quantity for a 30 cm square tin.
