Ingredients

  • 2 cup self-raising flour
  • 1/2 cup cocoa powder
  • 4 egg
  • 2 tsp vanilla essence
  • 2 cup sugar
  • 1 cup milk
  • 168 g soft butter

Method

  • Step 1
    Place all ingredients in a mixer and beat for 6 minutes.
  • Step 2
    Pour into a greased cake tin and bake at 175C for 1 hour.

Equipment

  • 1 electric beaters
  • 1 lamington pan
Recipe Notes
It will make 2 smallish round cakes, or one lamington tin. Make a double quantity for a 30 cm square tin.
