Ingredients

  • 24 meatballs
  • 200 g tasty cheese cubed
  • 420 g tomato soup
  • 2 bacon rashers diced *optional
  • 2 tbs Worcestershire sauce *to taste
  • 1 beef stock cube
  • 1 tsp mixed herbs

Method

  • Step 1
    Push a cube of cheese inside each of the meatballs, making sure to fill hole back over with meat. Roll a little and place in baking dish.
  • Step 2
    Sprinkle bacon over meat balls.
  • Step 3
    Combine remaining ingredients and gently pour over the meatballs.
  • Step 4
    Bake at 160C for approximately 1 hour or until cooked.
  • Step 5
    Serve with rice, or vegetables and potatoes.
Recipe Notes
This can be prepared in advance and cooked later. Onion can be added but it needs to be pre-cooked.
