Meatballs with cheese centres cooked in the oven in tomato soup.
Ingredients
- 24 meatballs
- 200 g tasty cheese cubed
- 420 g tomato soup
- 2 bacon rashers diced *optional
- 2 tbs Worcestershire sauce *to taste
- 1 beef stock cube
- 1 tsp mixed herbs
Method

Step 1Push a cube of cheese inside each of the meatballs, making sure to fill hole back over with meat. Roll a little and place in baking dish.

Step 2Sprinkle bacon over meat balls.

Step 3Combine remaining ingredients and gently pour over the meatballs.

Step 4Bake at 160C for approximately 1 hour or until cooked.

Step 5Serve with rice, or vegetables and potatoes.
Recipe Notes
This can be prepared in advance and cooked later. Onion can be added but it needs to be pre-cooked.
