This is my family's favourite dessert sauce.
Ingredients
- 500 g fresh strawberries hulled
- 2 tbs caster sugar *to taste
- 1 tbs fresh lemon juice *to taste
Method

Step 1Place 250g strawberries, sugar and lemon juice in a blender and blend until smooth.

Step 2Taste sauce and add more sugar or lemon juice as desired.

Step 3Chop the remaining strawberries and add to sauce mixture.

Step 4Chill for an hour before serving.

- 1 blender
Recipe Notes
I serve this with crepes, pancakes or waffles, and with whipped cream or ice cream.
