Ingredients

  • 250 g frozen spinach
  • 300 ml sour cream
  • 250 g tasty cheese grated
  • 45 g vegetable soup mix
  • 1 cob loaf
  • 1 tsp garlic to coat
  • 1 tbs butter to coat

Method

  • Step 1
    Place all ingredients except cob loaf in a sauce pan and cook until thick and creamy.
  • Step 2
    Slice top off loaf and pull out centre in big chunks and set aside.
  • Step 3
    Place cooked ingredients in loaf and replace top.
  • Step 4
    Melt butter and garlic together. Baste all over the cob with butter and garlic mixture.

  • Step 5
    Place in preheated 190C oven to crisp the cob.
  • Step 6
    Serve with left over chunks of bread, vegetable sticks or crackers.
Recipe Notes

You can also use home cooked spinach.
