Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 kg turkey thighs skin off boneless
  • 1 pinch salt and pepper *to taste
  • 1 tbs olive oil
  • 6 garlic cloves
  • 1/2 cup dry white wine
  • 1/2 cup chicken stock (liquid)
  • 1 tbs parsley chopped

Method

  • Step 1
    Season turkey with salt and pepper or lemon pepper.
  • Step 2
    In a large frypan over medium-high heat, heat olive oil.
  • Step 3
    Add turkey thighs and brown all over for approximately 10 minutes.
  • Step 4
    Place turkey in slow cooker and add remaining ingredients.

    Cook on high for 3-4 hours or low for 6-8 hours.
  • Step 6
    Remove garlic cloves from pot. For extra flavour, mash as many as required and return to the slow cooker.
  • Step 7
    Serve turkey with juices.
Recipe Notes

Chicken thighs or 2kg turkey drumsticks with skin removed can be substituted for turkey thigs.

Use salt and pepper or lemon pepper.
