A winter warmer for the whole family.
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 kg turkey thighs skin off boneless
- 1 pinch salt and pepper *to taste
- 1 tbs olive oil
- 6 garlic cloves
- 1/2 cup dry white wine
- 1/2 cup chicken stock (liquid)
- 1 tbs parsley chopped
Method

Step 1Season turkey with salt and pepper or lemon pepper.

Step 2In a large frypan over medium-high heat, heat olive oil.

Step 3Add turkey thighs and brown all over for approximately 10 minutes.

Step 4Place turkey in slow cooker and add remaining ingredients.

Step 5Cook on high for 3-4 hours or low for 6-8 hours.

Step 6Remove garlic cloves from pot. For extra flavour, mash as many as required and return to the slow cooker.

Step 7Serve turkey with juices.
Recipe Notes
Chicken thighs or 2kg turkey drumsticks with skin removed can be substituted for turkey thigs.
Use salt and pepper or lemon pepper.
