This is a an easy, healthy and tasty sauce for spaghetti that also works well in lasagne. Make a double batch and you've just about got two meals cooked!
Ingredients
- 500 g lean beef mince
- 1 onion chopped
- 4 tbs tomato paste
- 1 tbs garlic minced
- 425 g tomato soup
- 2 celery sticks chopped
- 1 cup pumpkin chopped
- 1 cup carrot chopped
- 1 tsp Italian dried herbs
- 1 cup dry white wine
- 1 tbs chicken stock powder
Method

Step 1Break the mince up, place in microwave safe container along with chopped onion.

Step 2Cover and cook until browned, break up with a fork every minute or so. Drain off any fat.

Step 3Add all ingredients into the slow cooker, mix thoroughly and cook on low for approximately 6 hours.

Step 4Serve over spaghetti.
Recipe Notes
I like to mix up batches of this on the weekend and store them in my freezer in big zip lock bags. All I have to do then during the week is take them out of the freezer and plonk them into the slow cooker before I go to work.
