Beautifully flavoured and moist chicken dish.
Ingredients
- 1 whole chicken
- 3 celery stalk coarsely chopped
- 2 carrot coarsely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic broken into pieces
- 2 cups chicken stock (liquid)
- 2 sprigs fresh rosemary
- 1/4 cup fresh curly parsley
- 1/2 tsp black peppercorns
- 1 bay leaf
- 2 tbs soy sauce
- 1 lemon cut into slices
- 1/2 tsp white pepper *to taste
Method

Step 1Place vegetables on bottom of cooker.

Step 2Place chicken on top and pour in stock.

Step 3Pour soy sauce over top of chicken.

Step 4Add in herbs and place sliced lemon on top.

Step 5Replace lid and cook on high for 4-5 hours.

Step 6Serve with mashed potato and gravy made from pan juices.
