A delicious sweet Indian dish, with only six ingredients.
Ingredients
- 500g tub Greek yoghurt
- 125g Icing sugar
- 2-4 strands of saffron
- 2 tbsp warm milk
- 8-9 pistachios, crushed
- 1/2 tsp cardamom
Method

Step 1Place Greek yoghurt in strainer over an empty bowl to drain the excess water (you can strain this for 6 hours or overnight in the freezer). Remaining yogurt should be thick.

Step 2When the yoghurt is fully strained, remove the strainer and place the yoghurt into a bowl. Use a whisk to whisk it into a smooth consistency. It should be creamy and smooth in texture.

Step 3Add icing sugar into the bowl and mix it well.

Step 4Add cardamom powder to the bowl.

Step 5Meanwhile in a small bowl, mix the saffron and warm milk. Add it very slowly to the yoghurt mixture.

Step 6Add crushed pistachios into yogurt mix, leaving some aside for garnishing. Mix yoghurt and pistachios well.
