Tasty sausage rolls.
Ingredients
- 500 g beef mince
- 250 g pork mince
- 1 onion finely grated
- 1 carrot finely grated
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 2 tbs tomato paste
- 2 tbs soy sauce
- 2 egg
- 1 cup fresh breadcrumbs
- 4 sheets puff pastry
- 1 cup fresh breadcrumbs to coat
Method

Step 1Preheat oven to 200C.

Step 2Cook onion and carrot in frypan until soft.

Step 3Add garlic powder, herbs and tomato paste.

Step 4Place onion and carrot into a bowl, and add the mince and eggs.

Step 5Stir until combined.

Step 6Add breadcrumbs and soy sauce and mix until combined.

Step 7Shape mince into 4 logs to fit the size of the pastry.

Step 8Brush pastry sheets with beaten egg.

Step 9Roll logs in extra breadcrumbs.

Step 10Place logs on pastry sheet and roll up.

Step 11Place on a baking tray and cut in half.

Step 12Brush logs with beaten egg.

Step 13Bake for 20-25 minute or until golden.
