A simple and cost effective winter warmer.
Ingredients
- 12 pork sausage
- 1/2 cabbage large
- 2 x 420 g canned cream of chicken soup
- 1 tsp black pepper *to taste
Method

Step 1Place sausages in a large saucepan. Cover with water and bring to the boil.

Step 2Remove the sausages, peel and discard the skin.

Step 3Cut each sausage into 4 parts and place in base of casserole dish.

Step 4Add enough condensed soup to just cover and stir until combined.

Step 5Shred the cabbage into long strips and top the sausage mix with the shredded cabbage.

Step 6Add black pepper to taste.

Step 7Cover and place in 190C preheated oven for 35 minutes.

Recipe Notes
Best served with mashed potato. Use pork or chicken sausages, and cans of condensed cream of chicken or cream of celery soup.
