Ingredients

  • 12 pork sausage
  • 1/2 cabbage large
  • 2 x 420 g canned cream of chicken soup
  • 1 tsp black pepper *to taste

Method

  • Step 1
    Place sausages in a large saucepan. Cover with water and bring to the boil.
  • Step 2
    Remove the sausages, peel and discard the skin.
  • Step 3
    Cut each sausage into 4 parts and place in base of casserole dish.
  • Step 4
    Add enough condensed soup to just cover and stir until combined.
  • Step 5
    Shred the cabbage into long strips and top the sausage mix with the shredded cabbage.
  • Step 6
    Add black pepper to taste.
  • Step 7
    Cover and place in 190C preheated oven for 35 minutes.

  • 1 knife
Recipe Notes

Best served with mashed potato. Use pork or chicken sausages, and cans of condensed cream of chicken or cream of celery soup.
