Another great hit with the kids.
Ingredients
- 1/4 cup margarine
- 3/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 egg
- 1/3 cup butter melted
- 1 tsp vanilla essence
- 1 1/2 cup plain flour
- 1/2 tsp bicarbonate of soda
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp cream of tartar
- 36 tbs raspberry jam
Method

Step 1Preheat oven to 190C.

Step 2In a bowl, combine margarine, brown sugar, egg, melted butter and vanilla and stir well.

Step 3In a separate bowl, stir all dry ingredients. Add to first mixture.

Step 4Shape into small balls and place on un-greased tray.

Step 5Bake for 10-15 minutes. Cool, then join two biscuits together with raspberry jam.
Recipe Notes
You can also fill the inside with your favourite cream mixture.
