Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup margarine
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1/3 cup butter melted
  • 1 tsp vanilla essence
  • 1 1/2 cup plain flour
  • 1/2 tsp bicarbonate of soda
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp cream of tartar
  • 36 tbs raspberry jam

Method

  • Step 1
    Preheat oven to 190C.
  • Step 2
    In a bowl, combine margarine, brown sugar, egg, melted butter and vanilla and stir well.
  • Step 3
    In a separate bowl, stir all dry ingredients. Add to first mixture.
  • Step 4
    Shape into small balls and place on un-greased tray.
  • Step 5
    Bake for 10-15 minutes. Cool, then join two biscuits together with raspberry jam.
Recipe Notes
You can also fill the inside with your favourite cream mixture.
