A tasty prawn dish served with a tangy mayonnaise.
Ingredients
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 1 tsp lemon juice
- 1 clove garlic clove crushed
- 24 green prawns
- 1 tsp chilli flakes dried
- 1/4 cup parsley finely chopped
Method

Step 1Combine mayonnaise, lemon juice and garlic in a small bowl. Cover and refrigerate.

Step 2Peel prawns, but leave tails intact.

Step 3Add prawns to a heated, greased frypan.

Step 4Saute over heat until prawns change colour, then stir in dried chilli flakes and parsley and heat for a further minute to coat prawns evenly.

Step 5Serve with lemon and garlic mayonnaise.
Recipe Notes
Lemon and garlic mayonnaise can be prepared and prawns can be peeled several hours ahead. Keep covered separately in the fridge.
