Just like mum used to make!
Ingredients
- 3 kg dark plum ripe
- 1 1/2 L water
- 4 cloves garlic roughly chopped
- 1/2 cup Ezy-sauce
- 6 tsp salt
- 1 1/2 kg sugar
Method

Step 1Place plums, garlic and water into a large saucepan.

Step 2Bring to a boil stirring occasionally, until stones have separated.

Step 3Push through a colander over a large bowl and remove stones.

Step 4Return pulp and liquid to original, rinsed saucepan.

Step 5Add Ezy sauce, sugar and salt.

Step 6Boil gently for approximately 2 hours or until sauce thickens.

Step 7Pour into hot, sterilised bottles and seal.
