A quick and delicous salad, never have a BBQ at our house without it.
Ingredients
- 2 cup spirals pasta shapes
- 1 onion diced
- 1 celery stick thinly sliced
- 1 green capsicum diced
- 2 ham steak diced
Dressing
- 1/3 cup canola oil
- 1/4 cup white vinegar
- 1 tsp curry powder
- 1 tbs caster sugar
Method

Step 1Boil pasta as to packet directions, run under cold water, drain well and allow to cool.

Step 2Place onion, celery, capsicum and ham steak in a large salad bowl.

Step 3Add pasta.

Step 4Add all dressing ingredients in a shaker or jar with a screw top lid. Shake until well combined.

Step 5Pour over pasta. Stir to combine.
Equipment
- 1 bowl
- 1 glass jar with lid
Recipe Notes
Serve with any BBQ meat, or nice on its own for a light lunch. With the dressing, you can vary the quantities to your own preference, add crushed garlic for a little more zing. Omit ham steak for a vegetarian option.
