Delicious easy to make sausage rolls with a bit of extra flavour.
Ingredients
- 5 sheets puff pastry
- 500 g sausage beef mince
- 1 onion chopped
- 1 carrot grated medium
- 25 ml Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 tsp fresh thyme finely chopped
- 2 eggs whisked
- 1/2 tsp garlic minced
- 1/4 tsp white pepper
- 1/2 cup fresh breadcrumbs
- 1 tbs sesame seeds
- 1 tbs milk
Method

Step 1Pre-heat oven to 200C and line baking tray with baking paper.

Step 2Combine all ingredients except pastry, sesame seeds and milk.

Step 3Divide mince mixture into 5 equal parts and form into sausage logs.

Step 4Place sausages on the edge of each pastry sheet and wrap pastry into long rolls.

Step 5Cut each roll into desired length and place seam side down on trays.

Step 6Brush rolls with milk and sprinkle with sesame seeds.

Step 7Bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown.
