These Oreo truffles are so rich and creamy, it’s impossible to stop at just one! Let your imagination run wild when decorating your truffles, and add some crushed up Oreo’s or candy canes to the top, a few sprinkles, or a couple of edible baubles. - bakeplaysmile

Ingredients

  • 300g Oreo biscuits
  • 250g cream cheese softened
  • 150g milk chocolate melts

Method

  • Step 1
    Crush Oreos until they resemble fine crumbs.
  • Step 2
    Mix Oreo crumbs with the cream cheese.
  • Step 3
    Roll into 1 inch sized balls and place on a tray lined with baking paper.
  • Step 4
    Place chocolate in microwaveable bowl and microwave on medium for 2-3 minutes, stirring every 30 seconds, until chocolate is completely melted.
  • Step 5
    Place the truffles into the bowl of melted chocolate (in batches) and use two forks to roll the truffles around until they are completely coated.
  • Step 6
    Remove truffles with the forks and allow any excess chocolate to drip off.
  • Step 7
    Place back onto the baking paper lined tray and decorate with your choice of toppings (ie. crushed Oreos, candy canes, sprinkles, baubles etc).
  • Step 8
    Place into the fridge to set for 1 hour.

Recipe Notes

You can swap the milk chocolate melts for white or dark chocolate melts.
