This banana cake is so moist it won't last long. This is a family favourite, it has been passed down from my nan and gets eaten as fast as hers used to.
Ingredients
- 2 tbs butter
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 tbs milk
- 1 1/2 cup plain flour
- 1 tsp bicarbonate of soda
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 3 banana mashed
- 1 egg beaten well
- 1/2 cup icing sugar *to decorate
Method

Step 1Preheat oven to 190C.

Step 2Cream butter and sugar.

Step 3Add milk, flour, bicarbonate of soda, baking powder and banana.

Step 4Add well beaten egg.

Step 5Mix together and pour into a greased cake tin.

Step 6Bake for 40 minutes or until skewer comes out clean.

Step 7Allow to cool and dust with icing sugar, or icing of choice.
