Combine the convenience of an air fryer with the irresistible flavours of a classic comfort food with the mini air fryer meatloves with sticky glaze! In just over half an hour you will get delicious bites of tender beef that has been seasoned with aromatic herbs and glaze that creates mouth-watering caramelisation! The air fryer ensures quick and even cooking, and the individual-sized meatloves are a perfectly convenient option for both weeknight dinners and entertaining guests.
Ingredients
- 1 small brown onion, grated
- 25g (½ cup) panko breadcrumbs
- 1 egg
- 500g lean beef mince
- 2 garlic cloves, crushed
- 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
- 2 tsp dried oregano
- 1/2 small red onion, cut into wedges
- Mash and steamed greens, to serve
Sticky glaze
- 80ml (1/3 cup) smokey barbecue sauce
- 1 tbsp maple syrup
- 2 tsp worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp apple cider vinegar
Method

Step 1Combine brown onion, breadcrumbs and egg in a large bowl. Add mince, garlic, mustard and oregano. Season and use clean hands to mix until well combined.

Step 2Divide mixture into 4 portions. Shape each portion into a meatloaf shape.

Step 3Line an airfryer with baking paper. Place meatloaves on paper. Cook on 180C for 15 minutes.

Step 4Meanwhile, to make sticky glaze, combine ingredients in a small bowl. Season.

Step 5Brush meatloaves with glaze and top with red onion. Cook for a further 5 minutes. Brush onion and meatloaves with remaining glaze and cook for a further 2 minutes or until meatloaves are cooked through.

Step 6Serve meatloaves with mash and steamed greens.
