Ingredients

  • 500 g beef mince
  • 500 g bacon rashers diced
  • 1 onion chopped
  • 1 pinch salt and pepper
  • 1 tbs Vegemite
  • 3/4 cup plain flour

Method

  • Step 1
    Brown mince and onion.
  • Step 2
    Add bacon and mix together with the mince.
  • Step 3
    Add salt and pepper
  • Step 4
    Add water and Vegemite and combine.
  • Step 5
    Simmer for 20 minutes.
  • Step 6
    Mix flour with a little water and make a paste. Thicken mince with the flour and water paste.
  • Step 7
    Serve with mashed potatoes.
Recipe Notes
This is a quick meal and is good for freezing, that is if you have any leftover.
