Ingredients

  • 500 g beef mince
  • 250 g macaroni
  • 1 onion diced
  • 2 tbs plain flour
  • 2 tbs butter
  • 2 cup milk
  • 1 cup cheese grated
  • 1/2 tsp salt and pepper *to taste

Method

  • Step 1
    Cook pasta as per packet instructions.
  • Step 2
    Fry the onion and mince.
  • Step 3
    Melt butter and add flour. Stir to make a paste.
  • Step 4
    Slowly add milk and stir until thickened. Stir in cheese.
  • Step 5
    Add cheese sauce and pasta to the mince and onion.
  • Step 6
    Serve with crusty bread and salad, or sprinkle with cheese and bake in the oven until browned.
