This is an old family favourite. Quick and easy to make.
Ingredients
- 500 g beef mince
- 250 g macaroni
- 1 onion diced
- 2 tbs plain flour
- 2 tbs butter
- 2 cup milk
- 1 cup cheese grated
- 1/2 tsp salt and pepper *to taste
Method

Step 1Cook pasta as per packet instructions.

Step 2Fry the onion and mince.

Step 3Melt butter and add flour. Stir to make a paste.

Step 4Slowly add milk and stir until thickened. Stir in cheese.

Step 5Add cheese sauce and pasta to the mince and onion.

Step 6Serve with crusty bread and salad, or sprinkle with cheese and bake in the oven until browned.
