My mum and grandmother use to make this and I love it. It's so easy to make.
Ingredients
- 3/4 cup sago
- 1/2 cup lemon juice
- 2 tbs sugar
- 1 tbs honey
Method

Step 1Bring 2 cups water to the boil. Add sago and stir until the mixture boils, then simmer for 15-20 minutes until cooked.

Step 2Add lemon juice, sugar and honey or golden syrup, cook for 2 more minutes.

Step 3Put into serving dish and allow to cool.

Step 4Serve with cream, custard or ice-cream.

Step 5Keep in the fridge, well covered.
