Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup sago
  • 1/2 cup lemon juice
  • 2 tbs sugar
  • 1 tbs honey

Method

  • Step 1
    Bring 2 cups water to the boil. Add sago and stir until the mixture boils, then simmer for 15-20 minutes until cooked.
  • Step 2
    Add lemon juice, sugar and honey or golden syrup, cook for 2 more minutes.
  • Step 3
    Put into serving dish and allow to cool.
  • Step 4
    Serve with cream, custard or ice-cream.
  • Step 5
    Keep in the fridge, well covered.
Recipe Notes

I use either honey or golden syrup.
