Recipe Notes

Kassler is a smoke-cured loin of pork that resembles a whole chunk of bacon. It can be sliced into thin steaks and served with steamed vegetables or sliced into strips and served on a bed of rice.

Use Kassler or lean smoke-cured loin of pork and thinly slice into small steaks or into strips.

Adjust the curry to suit your taste. This recipe is for a mild to moderate curry flavour.

Always trim the meat of any fat before adding to this recipe.
