Ingredients

  • 1 onion medium
  • 500 g beef steak, diced
  • 1 tbs tomato paste
  • 1/2 tbs curry powder
  • 1 tsp mixed spice
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 1/4 cup red wine
  • 1 cup water
  • 3 potato small
  • 1 canned peas
  • 2 egg
  • 400 g spaghetti cooked *to serve

Method

  • Step 1
    Fry onion until soft, add steak and continue to cook until brown.
  • Step 2
    Add tomato paste, water and red wine, bring to the boil and reduce heat.
  • Step 3
    Add curry powder, mixed spice, bay leaf and potatoes. Simmer for 1 hour.
  • Step 4
    Add the eggs and peas to the sauce and cook for 5 minutes.
  • Step 5
    Serve with cooked spaghetti.
Recipe Notes

Add extra wine and water during cooking if needed.
