An easy pasta salad I've grown up eating and have always loved. I make this for all bring a salad events and its always a hit. - welcome2myworld

Ingredients

  • 750 g pasta
  • 2 onion large sliced
  • 500 g bacon rashers diced
  • 1/2 cup Italian salad dressing *to dress
  • 1 tbs oil

Method

  • Step 1
    Boil pasta as directed on packet, drain and refresh with plenty of cold water to cool it.
  • Step 2
    In a fry pan, heat a little oil and fry onion and bacon together thoroughly until onion is transparent and bacon thoroughly cooked.
  • Step 3
    Place bacon, onion and pasta in a large bowl and mix together.
  • Step 4
    Coat thoroughly with dressing.
Recipe Notes
Use spiral or shell pasta. I often make this salad the day / night before needed and I find it always has a better taste the next day. Lasts for up to 2 days in the fridge. I use Coles brand Italian dressing. Adjust ingredient quantities according to taste.
