Ingredients

  • 400 g spaghetti
  • 150 g bacon rashers diced
  • 2 egg yolks
  • 50 g cheese grated

Method

  • Step 1
    Boil a large pot of water, add some salt and then the pasta. Boil until cooked. Drain.
  • Step 2
    Meanwhile, fry bacon slightly in a pan with a little oil until brown.
  • Step 3
    Beat the egg yolks with the cheese until well combined, occasionally adding some boiling water until it is smooth.
  • Step 4
    Pour pasta in the saucepan with the eggs and cheese and stir.
  • Step 5
    Pour pasta mixture in the bacon pan and stir.

Equipment

  • 1 saucepan
Recipe Notes

Serve hot with olive oil.

Sprinkle with black pepper.

Sprinkle with preferred cheese
