This turmeric chai is deeply spiced and warming, and contains no caffeine so can be enjoyed before bed. Turmeric is known for its antioxidants and anti-inflammatory powers – you can feel good about this toasty brew.
Ingredients
- 3 1/2 cups unsweetened non-dairy milk
- 1 tsp gound turmeric
- 1/4 tsp ground ginger
- 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp ground nutmeg
- 1/4 tsp cardamom
- 1/4 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 tbs raw honey
- Pinch sea salt
Method

Step 1Warm the milk in a saucepan over low heat.

Step 2Add all the other ingredients to the milk and stir to combine.

Step 3Simmer for 5 mins and then let steep for another few minutes.

Step 4Strain (if required), and serve into three mugs. Enjoy!
