Your guests will love getting stuck into this cheesy pull-apart bread, topped with crispy bacon bits and garlic butter.
Ingredients
- 125g butter, room temperature
- 4 cloves garlic, crushed
- 1 tbs chives, chopped, plus extra to serve
- 1 - 2 fresh bread sticks
- 1 cup grated tasty cheese
- 100g bacon, finely diced
- Pinch of salt and pepper
Method
-
Step 1Preheat oven to 180C. Liberally grease a bundt tin.
-
Step 2Combine butter, crushed garlic, chives, salt and pepper in a small bowl. Slice bread sticks diagonally into 2cm thick slices. Spread garlic butter on both sides of each slice and arrage in the greased bundt tin, allowing slices to overlap. Sprinkle a little cheese between the slices as you go.
-
Step 3Cover the tin with foil and bake for 15 minutes.
-
Step 4Meanwhile, cook bacon for 4 - 5 minutes until crisp. Set aside.
-
Step 5Remove the bundt tin from the oven and carefully turn out onto a baking tray lined with baking paper. Sprinkle over bacon and remaining cheese, then return to the oven for 8 - 10 minutes. Garnish with extra chives and serve.
