You can't beat a tasty pasta bake for an easy dinner or lunch. Brought to you by Barilla.
Ingredients
- 500 g Barilla fusilli pasta
- 575 g Barilla Cheese & Tomato Pasta Bake
- 650 g Italian sausage, casings removed
- 2 cloves garlic chopped
- 1 sprig fresh rosemary
- 2 broccoli broken into florets
- 120 g reggiano parmigiano cheese, grated
- 80 ml extra virgin olive oil
- 1 pinch salt and pepper *to taste
- 1 pinch rock salt
Method

Step 1Bring plenty of salted water (7g salt to 1L of water) to the boil.

Step 2Break the sausage meat up and saute in a fry pan with a little oil, the rosemary and garlic. Cook for 5 minutes.

Step 3At the same time, drop the Fusilli in the water and after 5 minutes add the broccoli florets.

Step 4Drain the pasta 2 minutes before the instructions on the pack.

Step 5Combine the cooked pasta and broccoli with the Barilla Cheese and Tomato Pasta Bake sauce, the sausage and half of the Parmigiano Reggiano cheese.

Step 6Place in an ovenproof dish, sprinkle with the remaining cheese and bake in a pre-heated oven at 200 °C for 15 minutes.

Step 7Serve immediately.
