A crunchy biscuit that goes well with tea or coffee.
Ingredients
- 125 g butter
- 1/4 cup peanut butter
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup unsalted roasted peanuts roughly chopped
- 1 egg
- 3/4 cup self-raising flour
- 3/4 cup plain flour
- 1/2 cup rolled oats
- 1 cup milk chocolate chips
Method

Step 1Melt butter and peanut butter together, allow to cool.

Step 2Combine brown sugar and egg with butter mixture, then add flours, peanuts, oats and chocolate chips.

Step 3Mix well.

Step 4Roll into walnut-sized balls and flatten with a fork.

Step 5Bake at 180C for 12-14 minutes.
Recipe Notes
Biscuits don't spread during cooking so make sure they are well flattened.
For a change, add a few sultanas, peanuts and crushed cornflakes to the mixture.
