Ingredients

  • 125 g butter
  • 1/4 cup peanut butter
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted roasted peanuts roughly chopped
  • 1 egg
  • 3/4 cup self-raising flour
  • 3/4 cup plain flour
  • 1/2 cup rolled oats
  • 1 cup milk chocolate chips

Method

  • Step 1
    Melt butter and peanut butter together, allow to cool.
  • Step 2
    Combine brown sugar and egg with butter mixture, then add flours, peanuts, oats and chocolate chips.
  • Step 3
    Mix well.
  • Step 4
    Roll into walnut-sized balls and flatten with a fork.
  • Step 5
    Bake at 180C for 12-14 minutes.
Recipe Notes

Biscuits don't spread during cooking so make sure they are well flattened.

For a change, add a few sultanas, peanuts and crushed cornflakes to the mixture.
