This is very popular in Europe in summer time, because it's quick and easy forlunch or dinner. This is from my mother and all my family love it.
Ingredients
- 500 g edam cheese
- 1 cup plain flour
- 2 egg whisked
- 2 cup dried breadcrumbs
- 70 ml milk
- 1 cup olive oil
- 2 cup mashed potato
- 2 cup Greek salad
Method

Step 1Cut the edam cheese in slices 1 cm thick. Put the cheese in a bowl with cold water and then shake off and cover with plain flour,eggs and breadcrumbs. Put the breaded cheese into the freezer for a few minutes before frying.

Step 2Heat olive oil in a large frying pan over medium high heat. Fry cheese on both sides until golden brown.

Step 3Serve the cheese with mashed potato and Greek salad.
