Ingredients

  • 125 g butter
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup orange juice
  • 1/2 cup rum
  • 8 banana small
  • 4 scoops ice cream

Method

  • Step 1
    Melt butter or margarine in a pan on low heat.
  • Step 2
    Add sugar and orange juice. Stir until sugar is dissolved. Peel bananas and add to pan. Simmer for 5-8 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  • Step 3
    Arrange bananas in a warmed serving dish, spoon over the remaining sauce.
  • Step 4
    Place rum into a clean saucepan on low heat cook for 2-3 minutes.
  • Step 5
    Pour rum over the bananas and carefully ignite.
Recipe Notes
Serve immediately with ice-cream or whipped cream of your choice.
