Recipe Notes
I use a 400 g tin of diced tomatoes or a jar of pasta sauce when making mine. I use dried herbs and only add 2 teaspoons. Line bottom of casserole dish with a small amount of cream, you can then add the herbs to the rest of the cream and mix together, it helps stop the lasagne sheets sticking also. Sometimes the lasagne does need more time in the oven (I find this when I don't use fresh lasagne sheets), I test with a skewer to see if the bottom layers are tender. Use garlic or crushed garlic. Can tomato soup, diced tomatoes or pasta sauce. Cream, white sauce, cheese sauce or bechamel sauce.
