A very easy casserole style dish, that tastes great and takes very little time to prepare!
Ingredients
- 1 kg chicken breast fillet
- 1/2 cup plain flour
- 3 tsp curry powder
- 4 tsp chicken stock powder
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/2 cup cream
- 2 tbs fruit chutney
- 3 tbs honey
- 4 shallots chopped
Method

Step 1Coat chicken in mixed curry powder and flour.

Step 2Pan fry chicken until browned, then place in a casserole dish.

Step 3Mix all ingredients, except shallots, together and pour over chicken.

Step 4Bake, uncovered, at 180C for 30 minutes, then cover and bake for another 30 minutes.

Step 5Sprinkle with shallots just before serving.
Recipe Notes
A very easy dish that can be served with plain boiled rice or is just as nice with potato or pumpkin mash and some greens. Chicken tenderloins can also be used.
