Comfort food at its finest, this easy creamy chicken divan casserole is a breeze to make with fridge and pantry staples.
Ingredients
- 800g chicken breasts, 2cm dice
- 400g broccoli, cut into florets
- 35g French onion soup mix
- 420g condensed cream of chicken soup
- 1/2 cup milk
- 2 cups crushed Jatz biscuits
- 300ml sour cream
- 1 cup grated tasty cheese
Method

Step 1Preheat oven to 180C conventional. Place chicken and broccoli in a large oven-proof dish. Sprinkle over French onion soup mix and stir to combine.

Step 2Whisk together condensed soup and milk. Pour over chicken and broccoli.

Step 3Combine crushed Jatz, sour cream and grated cheese. Dollop over the top of the chicken and broccoli mixture and use a pallet knife to carefully spread to cover it entirely.
Recipe Notes
You can use chicken thighs if you prefer. Either way, cut into 2cm pieces.
Cover dish with foil if it is browning too quickly.
