Ingredients

  • 1.5 cups of plain flour
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup of plain yoghurt
  • 1 tsp bicarb soda
  • 500mL vegetable oil

Method

  • Step 1
    Mix flour, eggs, yoghurt and bicarb soda in a small bowl until smooth.
  • Step 2
    Spoon mixture into small balls and deep fry until golden. Scoop balls out from oil. Lightly pat dry with a paper towel.
  • Step 3
    Sprinkle with cinnamon and drizzle with honey to serve. Serve immediately.
Recipe Notes

These dougnuts are prone to deflating, so they should be served right after frying.
