Oven baked chicken. This is a family favourite.
Ingredients
- 24 chicken wing
Marinade
- 1/2 cup plain yoghurt
- 3 tbs lemon juice
- 2 tsp mustard
- 1/4 tsp horseradish
- 1/4 tsp garlic powder
- 1/4 tsp thyme
Coating
- 1/2 cup dried breadcrumbs
- 3/4 cup parmesan cheese grated
- 1 tsp salt
Method

Step 1Mix marinade ingredients in a bowl.

Step 2Mix coating ingredients in a second bowl.

Step 3If using whole wings, discard tips and cut wings apart.

Step 4Add chicken to yoghurt mixture. Stir to coat.

Step 5Marinade in the fridge for at least 2-3 hours.

Step 6Remove chicken pieces from marinade, roll in cheese mixture and place on a foil-lined greased baking tray.

Step 7Bake at 180C for 30-45 minutes until cooked through.

Step 8Serve hot.

Recipe Notes
Use chicken wings or 16 drumettes, plain yoghurt, or sour cream, prepared mustard, ground thyme and dry fine bread crumbs.
Tips to convert this recipe to cook in an air fryer
After coating with spice mix spray liberally with oil an cook in the airfryer until crisp, golden and cooked to your liking.
