Ingredients

  • 6 frankfurts cooked sliced
  • 1/2 onion finely chopped
  • 2 tsp sugar *to taste
  • 1 garlic clove crushed
  • 2 tsp chicken stock powder
  • 1 tsp dijon mustard
  • 3/4 cup canola oil
  • 1/2 cup white vinegar
  • 1 tomato finely chopped
  • 1 Lebanese cucumber finely chopped
  • 1 capsicum finely chopped small
  • 120 g mixed salad leaves

Method

  • Step 1
    In an airtight container, place onion, garlic, sugar, chicken stock powder, mustard, oil, vinegar, salt and pepper. Shake until mixed thoroughly.
  • Step 2
    In a large salad bowl, place frankfurts, tomato, cucumber, capsicum and lettuce, and toss to combine.
  • Step 3
    Toss in half of the stirred salad dressing, or to taste.
Recipe Notes
Add more salad dressing as needed. Adjust salad dressing ingredients to taste by adding more sugar or other ingredients if needed.
